- Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent experience;
- Working knowledge of one or more of the following operating systems - Linux, Unix, MacOS and/or Microsoft Windows Server
- Familiar with current storage technology (eg. SAN Storage, iSCSI, fibre channel technology) and network connectivity
- Knowledge and experience of data backup, archiving and virtualization would be advantageous
- Analytical thinking and able to troubleshoot independently;
- A good team player with strong self-Motivation;
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn new technology
- Experience in IT technical support environments advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration and support of Quantum software/hardware products
- Respond to support requests from Quantum partners and customers and provide phone, on- Ite or remote support as required
- To take ownership of customer issues and ensure support issues are resolved
- Have a deep understanding of the technology behind our solutions
- Provide training to customers as and when required
- To assist in preparing Proof of Concept as and when required
