Sourcing Specialist Pest Control - Hong Kong

Job Description:

Established in 2007, our office in Hong Kong provides sourcing, development, quality control, and inspection services. Our business covers a wide range of products including everyday household items, home appliances, leisure goods, personal accessories, home textiles, kitchenware, tableware, indoor and outdoor furniture, indoor decorations, toys, seasonal products, and electric seasonal items. We also have a sourcing office in China that delivers similar services. With hundreds of staff in Hong Kong and China, we continue to grow our brand with professional teams. We achieved a turnover of 1.5 billion (including tax) in the period 2018 / 2019.

Responsibilities:

- Constant sourcing of new products and vendors, conducting comparisons for quality and cost among different vendors.

- Handling price negotiation and costing with vendors.

- Proposing, modifying, and validating a purchase transfer schedule (factory visits, showroom, etc.) according to the needs of the buyer and Senior Sourcing

- Working closely with buyers to understand customer needs, requirements, and overall market trends.

- Building and maintaining excellent vendor relationships.

- Performing ad-hoc projects and tasks as requested by the Senior Sourcing Manager.

Requirements:

- Diploma or higher qualification.

- At least 3 years of relevant sourcing experience, preferably with Camping, Beach, and Pest control items.

- Willingness to travel frequently.

- Self-motivated, independent, proactive, and a team player who can work under pressure.

- Good communication and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office applications.

- Good command of English and Mandarin.
